Touch Mobile Phone Service launched in the Falkland Islands

On the 12th December 2005, Cable & Wireless launched the mobile phone service branded as Touch.  The Touch mobile phone service offers a choice of three packages:

Touch Premium is a pay monthly package aimed at higher users.  Touch Premium customers also benefit from more promotions.  Touch Easy is a pay-as-you-go package for long term users and Touch N'Go is a pay-as-you-go package aimed at short term users, such as tourists, MOD personnel and short term visitors valid for 210 days.

With the introduction of the new telephone exchange, there will be some changes to the current services offered.

Effective from 17th April 2006 Advice Duration of Calls will no longer be available.

Also effective from 17th April 2006 141 calls with the prepaid phone cards will become 1141.

New Tariffs effective from 1st February 2006
