Mobile Service We are delighted to have launched our EDGE mobile data service!
How do I set up a mobile phone account? Our Touch mobile phone service offers a choice of pay monthly or pay as you go packages. Please click here for package details. Simply choose the package which best suits your needs, and complete a mobile application form, then bring it along to our shop in Stanley or MPA and you can walk away with your SIM card.

How do I activate Mobile Data Services? To activate data services you will need to configure both the data and MMS settings on your handset please click here for step by step instructions.
How can I upgrade? If you want to upgrade from pay as you go to Premium pay monthly, or you are an existing Premium customer and wish to upgrade to a larger pay monthly package, please click here. For details on downgrading please contact Customer Services.
How can I top up my mobile? For customers who have a Cable & Wireless account, you can top up your mobile 24/7 by contacting freephone 123. Alternatively you can buy mobile top up cards from a number of retail outlets in Stanley and MPC, including our shops. These can be used by calling 450 and following the prompts, or by texting the pin number on the card to 450. For those customers who would like an automatic top up service, please complete and return an application form. By signing up to this service we will top up your mobile account with a preset amount on the 1st working day of every month. This service will continue until you return a completed termination form, which can be downloaded here. You never have to run out of validity again!

Roaming How do I use my phone abroad?Your Falkland Islands SIM card can be used to roam when you're away from the Islands. Cable & Wireless currently has a large number of roaming partners, which means that if you are a Falkland Island post paid customer you can use your SIM card to roam in a number of countries across the world. If you plan to use your Falkland Islands SIM card to roam in another country, please click here to download our user guide. Visitors to the FalklandsIf you are a visitor to the Islands and you have a contract phone, you may be able to use our roaming service to use your own SIM card. Click here for a current list of roaming partners. To roam in the Falklands you will need to make sure your service provider has activated roaming on your account, this is usually only available to contract phones. |
